EdFlik Summer Camp UAE — Ages 10–12: Fast Math, Money & AI

EdFlik Summer Camp UAE

The Summer That Makes Your Child Faster, Smarter, and Future-Ready: EdFlik Camp for Ages 10–12

There is a version of this summer where your child finishes two weeks sharper at maths than most adults around them, genuinely understands how money grows, and has already built something using AI.

That is not a dream. That is EdFlik's Online Summer Camp 2026 for children aged 10 to 12 — live on Zoom, designed for the UAE, and built around three skills that will follow your child into their academic and professional future.

The Program at a Glance

Age Group: 10–12 years

Duration: 2 Weeks · 10

Teaching Days · 15 Hours Total

Format: Live Online on Zoom

Session Length: 90 Minutes per Day (Monday to Friday)

Subjects: Fast Math (Vedic Techniques) · Financial Literacy · AI Day (Every Friday)

Why This Combination of Skills?

When designing the 10–12 program, EdFlik asked a simple question: What are the three skills that will genuinely change how a child thinks, learns, and handles real life?

The answer was Fast Math, Financial Literacy, and Artificial Intelligence.

Fast Math: When Your Brain Becomes Faster Than a Calculator

At EdFlik, Fast Math is taught using Vedic mathematical techniques — ancient methods that allow the human brain to compute at speeds that genuinely leave calculators behind.

This is not tricks or shortcuts for short-term exam scores. Vedic Math changes the way a child's brain approaches numbers. Children who learn Vedic techniques develop stronger working memory, better number intuition, and faster mental processing — all of which translate directly into academic performance.

By the end of the two weeks, EdFlik students participate in a live Calculator vs Brain challenge — and many of them win.

What children will learn:

  • Core Vedic multiplication and division techniques
  • Speed arithmetic: squaring numbers, cross-multiplication, complement methods
  • Geometry and algebra using mental math approaches
  • Mixed review: combining Vedic, geometry, and algebra under timed conditions
  • Team speed relays that make maths genuinely competitive and fun

Financial Literacy: Real Money Skills, Not Textbook Theory

Most children in the UAE — and globally — grow up without ever being formally taught how money works. EdFlik's Financial Literacy curriculum changes that.

Over two weeks, children aged 10–12 move through an increasingly sophisticated understanding of personal finance:

Week 1 covers budgeting basics — distinguishing between income, spending, and saving — and culminates in a "Budget Challenge" where students compete to see who can save the most given a fixed income.

Week 2 escalates to savings plans, investment portfolios, risk versus reward, and a final financial plan presentation where students defend their decisions in front of peers, with the best plan earning an investor shoutout.

What children will learn:

  • How to build a personal budget
  • The difference between saving and investing
  • Risk vs reward: why higher returns come with higher risk
  • How to construct a basic financial portfolio
  • How to present and defend a financial plan

AI Day — Every Friday: Because the Future Is Already Here

Artificial Intelligence is no longer something children will encounter "someday." It is already part of how the world works — and children who understand it early will have a profound advantage.

At EdFlik, every Friday is AI Day. The approach is hands-on and exploratory, not theoretical:

In Week 1, children interact live with AI tools on screen, learning to write effective prompts, understanding how AI makes predictions, and testing a simple neural network demo. The Magic Moment — where a student makes the most accurate prediction in a live challenge — is one of the most exciting moments of the camp.

In Week 2, it escalates to the Grand AI Showcase: every student builds their own mini AI-powered tool or prompt sequence and presents it. The Grand Math Champion Badge, AI Showcase Awards, and Grand Certificate are all awarded in this final session.

What Makes EdFlik's 10–12 Program Stand Out

Speed without pressure. EdFlik's approach to Fast Math is built around enthusiasm, not anxiety. Competitions are structured to be fun — timed relays, peer challenges, calculator races — so children push themselves willingly, not reluctantly.

Money conversations that are real. The financial literacy curriculum is not about hypothetical examples from a textbook. Children are asked to think about their own goals, their own savings, and their own business ideas — making every lesson personally relevant.

AI in their hands, not just on a screen. Most AI education for children involves watching someone else use a tool. At EdFlik, every child prompts, tests, builds, and presents. By the end of the camp, they understand AI as something they can use — not just something they hear about.

Peer competition that builds confidence. The Budget Challenge, Calculator Race, and AI Showcase are designed so that every child has a genuine shot at being recognised. Awards span Most Improved, Best AI Interaction, and Grand Math Champion — ensuring multiple students are celebrated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this camp designed for?

Children aged 10 to 12. EdFlik runs a separate program for ages 7–9 (Chess, Financial Literacy, Art) and ages 13–15 (Public Speaking, Business, AI).

Does my child need to know Vedic Math already?

No. The Fast Math curriculum starts from the basics of Vedic techniques and builds progressively across the two weeks.

What do children need to participate?

A device (laptop, tablet, or computer) with a working camera, stable internet access, and a Zoom connection. No special software is required.

Is any pre-reading or preparation required?

No. EdFlik sessions are fully self-contained — your child arrives to each session and is guided from the start.

Will my child get a certificate?

Yes. EdFlik holds a Grand Certificate Ceremony on the final Friday, with each student called by name and personally recognised by their teachers.

Can parents watch sessions?

Parents are always welcome. The Grand AI Showcase on the final Friday specifically encourages parent attendance.
